Habitat for Humanity is the largest builder of homes in the world - with a new home built every 23 minutes, somewhere in the world. They offer free pick up of building materials, etc., to use when building new homes for needy families. They also offer free pick up for items you might otherwise sell in a garage sale, i.e., furniture, etc. Habitat resells these items through their ReStores, with all profits going to building more homes. They'll even provide tax receipts! Ask your local ReStore for more information.
